walls of hope

The use of imagery and color can affect the way a person feels. Studies show that therapeutic murals in hospitals provide holistic healing to any child who is about to be examined or given treatment. The presence of these colorful murals is also a powerful way of relieving stress and easing the hearts and minds of its visitors.

A number of people who have visited the Philippine Children's Medical Center have been, in one way or another, inspired by the wall murals found around the hospital (i.e. the story of Munting Patak-ulan). However, most of the paintings have already deteriorirated or have been lost due to time.

Join us as we bring hope to more children through the restoration and improvement of PCMC's wall paintings.

Hello dear followers! :D I know it’s a bit late for something like this, but in behalf of the WoH team, I would like to express our thankfulness for everyone who made WoH possible. Thanks for those who helped us prime some of the walls, outline the line drawings and paint. We’re also grateful for those who donated and prayed for us (haha). God is indeed a provider. :) I dropped by at PCMC last month. The paintings are still in good condition. You can also drop by at the hospital if you have time.
